Gordon Matta-Clark ‘FOOD’ exhibition, reviewed in The Irish Independent by Sophie Gorman.
Art may be the food of the soul but even artists need to consume something a bit more material if they want their bodies to survive. So why not create somewhere where both types of nourishment can occur simultaneously? Such was the brainwave of artist Gordon Matta-Clark who opened his restaurant Food in Soho in 1971. Food is also the name of his very belated debut Irish exhibition, which opens in the innovative thisisnotashop gallery in Dublin’s Benburb Street tomorrow.
Regarded by many as one of the most important American artists of the 1970s, Matta-Clark was at the heart of the vibrant artistic NY community from that time. This exhibition celebrates his creative life and his restaurant with documentary photographs and film, and should certainly give your soul a little something to chew on.

Hey if this is so, I could be coming up with the both kind of nourishments for the festive and the best I provide for the top attraction.
