We debut this series with a stunning new exhibition by the group Difference Engine featuring work by artists Gillian Lawler, Wendy Judge, Jessica Foley, Mark Cullen & Gordon Cheung that will take place June 10-18 at the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural & Educational Center in the Lower East Side of NYC. Concurrent to the exhibition will be a live program featuring performances, readings and workshops.

The launch of The Lighthouse Project with Difference Engine!

Yes it has been a while… Thisisnotashop took a bit of a winter break but we are pleased to announced we are back supporting a new series called The Lighthouse Project curated by Jessamyn Fiore and Victoria. The Lighthouse Project is conceived as a kind of creative conduit between Ireland and New York City promoting cross cultural artistic exchange through a series of exhibitions and events. We begin by bringing over the wonderful group of artists Difference Engine to exhibit in NYC this June- alongside their exhibition we will organize live performances, workshops with the artists, and readings all to actively engage New York based artists to respond to the work.
